Administrative Services

The Administrative Services Division of Scott Police Department is responsible for the daily operations within the department not often seen by the public.

The Administrative Services Division is responsible for:

  • Department Records Clerks

  • Records 

  • Citations (Processing & Collections)

  • Incident/Arrest/Crash Report Processing & Disbursement

  • Ordinance Enforcement

  • Evidence Division

  • Scott Mayor's Court

  • Purchasing & Budgeting

  • LIBRS/NIBRS Reporting

  • Elderly Services Program

  • Many Additional Daily Operations

This Division is led by Administrative Supervisor Lieutenant Hayden Godeaux.

Lt. Hayden Godeaux is a 2008 graduate of Church Point High School. While attending the University of Louisiana Lafayette, Lt. Godeaux began his law enforcement experience as a Student Officer with the university's police department and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in social and behavioral sciences.

 

Lt. Godeaux then joined Scott Police Department in March of 2012 during which he was awarded Officer of the Year in 2013. Rising through the ranks, Lt. Godeaux was promoted to Field Training Officer, Sergeant, and a patrol shift supervisor in 2014.

 

In 2016, Lt. Godeaux was again promoted as the Uniform Patrol Division Commander and Manager of the Field Training and Evaluation Program where he served until November 2020. Lt. Godeaux was then assigned as the Administrative Supervisor where he currently serves.
