Special Operations
The Special Operations Division of Scott Police Department consists of several department sections.
These sections include:
•Criminal Investigations Division
•School Resource Officer Program
•Traffic Enforcement Division
•Video/Camera Technologies
These areas are unique and fall outside normal patrol duties. Specialized training is required for officers manning these positions.
The primary mission of the Special Operations Division is to provide follow-up investigations for incidents received from the Patrol Division.
Additional sections of the division are responsible for enforcing traffic laws, being proactive within the community, guarding our children and the faculty on school campuses, and the collection and storage of evidence collected during investigations.
